Wisdom from the bear:
“Life is like a hammock. If you stay still and go with it, it’s really quite pleasant. If you struggle and thrash about, you’ll probably fall on your head.”
When we know our purpose, it’s easy to be calm and still, because the mind’s chatter can’t trick us. The mind wants you to think what it says is important, that the past and the future are the crucial concerns. Luckily, your only job in life is to connect with this moment, and from that, everything will work itself out (it already has, actually). So everything that happens is nothing more than a tool to help you become more aware, more observant, more yourself. As this awareness grows, the peace inside you will come out to play with the world, and you’ll never fall on your head.
